| Finding a New Home For Your Pet If you have a cat, dog, or other animal who needs a new home and you are able to keep your pet until a new home is found, we can help. Please understand that the Riley County Humane Society does not have a shelter and we have only a limited amount of foster homes. However, if you can keep your pet until a new home is found, complete our CAT PROFILE or DOG OR OTHER ANIMAL PROFILE. It is also very helpful if you can provide us with a picture of your pet. Riley County Humane Society is funded entirely by donations. In almost every case, foster care and vetting expenses for animals exceed our adoption fee. For this reason, we would ask that you bring your pet up to date on vetting. We will also require a $35.00 relinquish fee. We will contact you soon to discuss the pet. |
